Why Do We Smoke?

I think an interesting question to ask. Why do we smoke marijuana? Why do we choose to grow it, despite legal implications?

For me, I see it as a way to unwind after a long day. Some guys like to go to the bar and have some beers after work. I do the same thing, except I come home and roll a jay and unwind, or call some buddies and just chill.

But what about the rest of you? Why do you do it?

i smoke because i like being high and i have a lot of free time on my hands... not to unwind anything i live a pretty stress-free life and since i smoke so much the only time i feel stressed is when i'm not high... i think we can call that addiction..

i smoke because i like the high. truthfully though if i had to stop smoking tomorrow i would still grow. ganja is the most buetiful plant on earth to me.

i'll roll blunts until my fingers fall off. fuck that bong shit i like to sit there and cheef on some fuckin k-ron. everything's better when your high. it brings enthusiasm to the most humdrum activities

agreed the shit just looks fuckin crazy like some aqua plant. it's more of a hobby for me now just because i like making something grow and fuck wit it

i smoke for med use, i have very bad nerve damage in my arm from a motorcycle crash. but i do use it to unwind. its just the way i live... i love bong loads, pipes, blunts, spliffs, j's and vapes. what ever you throw infront of me

if i roll with papers.. i'll roll a cone ... i havent rolled a cone in years damn ... think im gonna do that 2morrow for football

im with you man. i love comming home after a stressful day and just lounging out with a j. ive got a room in my basement all finished off where i smoke. t.v., tunes, pool table, fridge full of cold beer, and complete silence whenever i need it. nothing more relaxing than hanging out down there after work for an hour and usually just as the munchies kick in the wife yells down that dinners done. not a big fan of going out to bars. i'd rather enjoy the comfort of my own home.

well i think the phrase "i just love to smoke marijuana" explains it well enough for me haha

I loves my weed, with coffee, with icecream, with oranges, in the heat, in the cold, with friends and when I'm alone. It keeps me healthy, It keeps me sane, it keeps me humble, it keeps me loveing.

I smoke mainly for medical use. Smoke some or puke all day? Yeah miagraines suck.

After a really long day there's nothing better.

I grew up in a stressful environment and the stress never really went away, it probably never will. I was diagnosed with an actual severe case of stress disorder. I wake up in the morning feeling like shit. I smoke a bong load and its instant relief. I couldn’t function normally in any part of my day if it wasn’t for THC.

Ok so yea I regularly indulge in... Well let’s say sometimes I smoke more than is necessary... getting fucked up... and it’s great fun but that’s just the social aspect of a soft drug.

The question I want to ask is... if weed was never illegal and you could easily go down to the store and pick up a pack of js. But growing it was still illegal, would you still grow? For me the answer is most definitely! The marijuana plant is an extremely interesting plant in itself. You can do so much to it, right down to treating it like a bonsai tree... it kind of is like one... and it’s such a great and beautiful plant in the first place! It should be everywhere!!!

If you could go buy a pack of jays, then the quality of weed would drastically drop.

Homegrowers like us are responsible for the increase in potency, and great genetics that exist.

I smoke because for thousands of years cannabis has been regarded as sacred, for the last 50 it's been illegal. How can a native plant to every part of the world be made illegal, it's like saying... "Well, rain gets you wet, and is bad for traffic, snow is slippery and dangerous... Precipitation is now illegal "

Cannabis is probably what they were talking about in the bible when they wrote "take from every seed bearing plant" "the tree of life"

There is no reason, outside big buisness in the lumber and cotton industry that marijuana should be illegal.

Hemp production should also be a major influence, considering the current global conditions, hemp will save the world. Fuel, food, fiber, medicine... And fun.

It's just a plant!

I love everything but the effects of weed,,, not big on smokin but everything else is just excellent, smell, taste, touch, sight of, and to produce(grow)..........

yea hemp will save the world......thats why i smoke. c'mon dude is your circle of life that small and niave that you really think that weed will save the earth? wow...public schools really do suck! to paraphrase george carlin (if you even know who that is) i got news for ya, after billions of years of surviving ice ages, meteor strikes, global floods, hurricanes, expoding volcanoes, earth quakes, and a whole bunch of other crap, the world aint goin anywhere....we are!

Smoking marijauna for me is the basic principle of comradery that can be found. I myself am a huge stoner my friends are huge stoners it is what we do. But why smoke pot? Why NOt?? We smoke because we enjoy it we enjoy the company we share and we enjoy the life style when it all comes down to it the life style is the biggest motivator. we pot heads have addopted a new envigorating life style and pursue it daily. AMEN!!
