Why do you newbs always grow auto's?

Elvis, im always really interested in what you have to say. How have your yields been on the autos youve run? I pulled 150 off one and thought that was amazing. Give us some numbers youve gotten off of some of those girls.

I dunno, probably lemon, I don't recommend whatever is. I thought it wasn't dried properly cos it was making us cough and not burning down very well, but I don't feel very stoned.
Oh to have my own stash... See, if I'd grown autos, they'd be done by now, so there's that.

BINGO you nailed it right off the bat. Market control gimmick. That's simply what it's about. Just like fem seeds. When people will wake up and smell the coffee idk? Ever noticed how most auto sellers only sell fems? Ever notice how all of the most respected breeders don't even make fems and won't even bat an eye at autoflowers?



I just don't understand why anyone would want to grow a finnicky lower potency plant which you cannot clone and keep around..... that takes the same amount of time to finish as a photo. Can't transplant, can't top, can't clone can't do shit with em.

I also don't understand why any breeder would want to put work into making a ruderalis hybrid better and more potent when there are already super potent photos to work with? Start with better breeding stock end up with better progeny.... it's simple. Working with Autos is taking 10 steps backwards just in hopes of moving 1 step forward. Doesn't make sense to me. Oh wait that's because I'm not a cashgrabber!

I've tried those purple colored black creek garden autos, had at tude still may, cool color but dinky first try. need 3.0 strains

Yeah, they are pretty pricey, I have a few that cost a good bit though, my rare dankness gth were up there, and for regs those GDP cost a ton, or maybe I'm just spoiled by the breeders boutique guys, they sent more 10 packs in freebies than I even paid for lol

Its true. The market control thing. Any semi educated riuer knows it. Im sure that there is a place to buy non feminized auto on the market though. They sell everything anyone could possibly want if you dig hard enough.
But as far as cash grabbing and market control dont sell the reg bean breeders short. Theyre just as money hungry. Lets be honest here. 98% of guys out there arent breeding their reg beans. Theyre killin the males and having to buy 10 packs for between 60-250 bucks. To get one cloneable plant. Then the next new thing hits and ya gotta stay up with the trends, cookies this, gorrila that, bohdi, dynasty today, something new next month.
I mean really the ruderallis crossing to make it auto flower and put on weight fast is the point of the breeding, so saying you cant clone them isnt really a point for the anti auto side, its more of a redundant fact thats in the name itself.
And as far as not being able to do anything with them, you can transplant them. I did on the one i had. It was fine. 150 grams of fire. You probably shouldnt top em but im sure you can if you really had to. You can train em, bend em, break em, i broke a branch on mine when i had that girl posing on it on my thread. That branch finished fine. I mean the only real thing you cant do with them is clone, and shouldnt do, is top, because auto flowers are in a race against the clock from when they germ. Which i think is pretty cool. Did you check out any of elvises threads? Nice looking plants.

It varies plant to plant.. In my garden A small auto will make 70 dry 60%RH grams.. a big auto just over 220 dry 60%RH cured bud. I'm growing 15 now because I cut one..
Those fastbuds genetics in my garden have never been grown buy anyone but me.. They look like they could pull off some weight.. This grow I'm looking for 1,500 dry grams.. but its never a promise!! i dont even have a scale that can weigh all that up..

Howd the rd genetics go for ya? I ran hillbilly armor and it was kinda shitty. One outta three was decent. Plants looked great! But then they just wouldnt stack any frost. Only one did and it was pretty meh.

Haven't run em yet, was gonna do them this round, but I popped 3 plemon 1 fem 2 reg, 2 quazy quakes, a bomb thc auto, 1 Dr.krippling ganj nam freebie, and a Barneys 8 ball kush freebie instead, probably next round

Hybrids...meaning genetically sativa or indica dominant. I stated in my OP that auto's with hybrid genetics are quite good, did I not?

So your friend may grow a bunch of autos but I am reasonably sure what he and I are both saying are indeed not completely opposite are they?

Ruderalis has very low THC, not really sure about CBD but I am gonna go out on a limb and say it is not very high either.

I bet his opinion would not be the same if his autos were ruderalis dominant or genetically pure ruderalis...just sayin'

I want to clear something up for everyone.

When I said I had mites. That was on that grow. It is the one and only time I've had them. I wiped them fuckers out.

My point is that shit happens. Its life. We all get thrown a curve ball. Not all of us can hit it.

My point was that I had problems and I handled them in a timely manner and still had a good crop.

Ole crocodile humper is acting like he grows gold every time.

I call bull shit. I've seen some of the best growers in here make mistakes. Its how you handle them.

dude, you know you rollin durty! lol. just kiddin. i'm with you: if you have an outdoor g'house and indoor grow, bugs are almost a given. just gotta kill em quick.
