Why does bubbler water get cloudy?

Is it a microorganism? What causes non-stagnant water to become yellowish/cloudy in a DWC bubbler?

The cloudiness is prolly from a form of algae. Are you letting ANY light into the system, if so, you might be the lucky grower of some algae. Algae will compete with your plants for nutes, and it will also slime up your roots prohibiting uptake of oxygen from the bubbling system.
