GHS lemon skunk, Is ghs so bad? I mean they are a good start for skint beginner growers. Honestly im a Reserva privada fan now but i still go back to a few GHS strains. They arn't all bad mateys. PEACE

I've had the luxury of growing out their Grape Stomper before and it's one of the best strains I've smoked in the past 20 years.

ghs are known for producing fems very quickly of whatever the latest trends of clone only strain are popular, cheese trainwreck og kush, for example do they have green crack yet lol ?
as they are working mostly with fems some people do not view this as breeding , alot of growers on various forums report mixed results with ghs seeds
since i like to buy reg seeds i have no real use for ghs, they very seldom offer anything that takes my fancy anyway

I dunno but i did recently check out those strain hunters vids and i agree 100% it seems like Arjan is quite lacking in knowledge AND interest in Cannabis history and growing, while the other dude he is with is all up in it like I would be he kinda stands and just talks about different BS and in one of them he is talking straight business, kinda offended me
I've been to Amsterdam a couple of times and the Greenhouse was my first stop because it was the closest to my Hotel. After all the hype and celebrity pictures on the wall, the weed wasn't that good. I got some strawberry haze that wasn't properly flushed. While it smelled awesome it smoked for shit. Black ash and a little harsh. Iv had better Arjans haze here in the US.

Arjan, Neville, Simon, Soma and Shanibaba have their prints on probably 75% of the strains out there today, of course they do it for the money but I'm sure they still have the love!!! Subcool claims that "some" seed companies stock is bred in Spain and they don't even have anything to do with them. While I do not doubt this is true (Green House probably) they wouldn't trust their breeding of new strains to forigners, certainly they create the strains, a monkey could breed them once their stabilized!!
Subcool does it for the money, yet everyone jocks his gear, I've bought his herb, I think he over dries his nuggs and neither strain were blow my mind smoke or flavor (had JTR and A-13, had a seed in JTR that apparently from what I was told was a pollination from a Plushberry, someone else found a seed in a different strain of his), all that said I have 3 packs of his beans (Dairy Queen was planted, 3 fems 2 males unopened is Deep Purple and Chyrnobl)

I'm worried (along with a few other people) about his strains getting loose and pollinating the local supply and losing the pure local genetics. He should be using his expertise to help the locals breed the best landrace strains in their natural environments.

Just to clarify, Arjan has not won the most cups. Many of the cups were won Shantibabba when he started the company. Arjan tries to claim all these cups, but Neville and Shanti won most of them. This is public knowledge if you look back into the first 10 cups. Arjan has also been banned from the cup for trying to buy votes.
As most may know, almost every seed company in Holland out sources it's seed production and breeding. Shanti actually lives and breeds in Switzerland, although his company is a Holland based company. I do not have a problem with GHSC, nor do i feel all their strains are bad. As with any breeder/seed company there are good and bad, and what considers good another may say they did not like it. It is the beauty of cannabis varieties. That said, my only problem with GHSC is that they claim cups they did not win, and even claim cups from the 80's when they did not even exist as a seed company until 1995.
