Why does my stuff dry darker.....

Hi all,

Curious,

After my first crop which was good the biut i left in the jar until now and after adding OJ peels it seems to have turned the weed darker?!?!!?
Has anybody else experienced this? What might it be down to??
I have just cropped another one different strain though, and that has dried even darker...is there any explanation for this do you think?

The gear was left in a large cabinet in the dark opened everyday for about 5days to allow air in and air out and then jarred.

Ideas? Theories? All welcome....

its becuase ur suppose to put a tiny piece of an actually orangle peel...not from oj.
the acid from the peel breaks down the thc after awhile..

Reason was it had dried too much i wanted a bit more mositure back in. Left it in there for 24hrs, jar opened up everyday for half hour or so.

OJ peel to add flavour and moisture.

I put some cilantro wrapped up in a little cheese cloth to add a little moisture. It really put a nice spicy flavor to the weed. I only did about a quarter oz with the cilantro and loved it.

Actually what i have had the best luck with is wrapping it in a lettuce leaf to get moisture back into the buds (after over drying) Got that clue out of one of Ed Rosenthalls books and low and behold it works. Since lettuce is inert, It Did not mess with the flavor at all

Pretty good idea Dj, Ill have to give it a try next time........
I remember several years ago I got a sack of bud and thought by adding an orange peel to it, It would taste like oranges..... It totally ruined my buds, molded them up. Yuck.
