you didnt flush it properly and it most likely isnt cured properly aswell

If your using a hydro setup, I would do a solid week flush, and if your using soil 2 weeks at least.

usually that happens to me when the bud is wet. i dont think its the flush, mayb it isnt dry yet.

you wont lose much weight so do this ...
put in brown paper bag and leave for 24 hours.
put it in a sealed jar and wait for 48 hours.
you will have much better buds at this point.

First you need to search "flushing at harvest",Then you will have enough information to ask questions. This is not from wet weed , it is because you have a high concentration of phosphorus still in your flowers that hasen't been used before harvest. The weed probably tastes harsh and metallic as well.
yes it does taste a little metalic. as for being harsh, its not that bad, but its not the smoothest either. is it really unhealthy to consume since it has phosphorus? thanks ..i've searched threads for answers but haven't really found anything that seems to be causing it.

dude the guy already said that its wet. stop believeing all the hype man.
i have done side by sides and ive flushed for a month and ive given plants 1-5-4 all the way till a couple days before chop (at a very high dose) and my outcome is the same every time, as long as its dried properly and jarred then it smokes perfect. on the other hand your saying its from phos and i never give HUGE p or k boosts like some do and MAYBE that has something to do with the crackling but i can assure that a flush wouldnt fix it. flushing is a good thing when your having issues and you need to clean your medium. flushing does not clean out your buds.
now also i should mention that if i take said buds (either flushed or non) and try to smoke em before their totally dried, then the crackling happens along with dark hard ashes rather then gray etc etc...

Did your bud start to herm? Looks nasty sorry to say. I have learned over the years that you dont want to fuck up in the end all that hard work and not flushing, drying, and curing properly will dramatically hurt your final product. Oh well that batch will be gone and you can try again... Good Luck!!
