omg im sick of talking to morons about this ofcourse their is metal in your weed their is metal in you!!!! ....its not from excess moisture get off it!!! ive smoked under dryed pot before and it didnt sizzle even if that is the case just one time then oh look its not from being wet!!!!!!!obviously something else is causing this reaction or it would happen alot more often

Look at the ingredients Miracle Grow. What makes the Nitrogen? Oh hey look, it comes from Aluminum. Hey, guess what? Aluminum is a metal. See any correlation?

found this also they are blaming it on pesticides which makes alot more sense to me than oh its still wet lol ------ Don't smoke "sizzle weed". That is the pesticides burning and cracking.

Is Your Dispensary Poisoning You?
WARNING: The American Medical Marijuana Association is concerned that some cannabis dispensaries may be selling cannabis that may be contaminated with pesticides.
A recent study done by AMMA suggests that contaminated cannabis is being sold by California dispensaries, possibly on a fairly widespread basis. Two of the most common pesticides being used are Malathion and Avid.
Some may complain that AMMA is overreacting by issuing this warning, but the tragic story of recently deceased Jane Wierick should serve as a sober message to all.
In order to combat this disturbing trend, AMMA is inviting California dispensaries to submit samples of their 'Best Medicine' for testing and evaluation. In the meantime, we suggest patients do three things to protect themselves from contaminated cannabis.
-- look at your herb under a magnifying glass. If you see dead bugs, your herb is probably contaminated with pesticide(s). --Second, look at the color of your ash. Cannabis ash that is black or dark gray may be contaminated and probably is of a grade that should not be consumed. Medical grade cannabis should always leave a white or light gray ash. (make sure your herb is completely dried before toking and judging the ash)
-- listen to how your herb burns. If you hear a popping or crackling sound, it indicates that something has contaminated the herb enough to disrupt the normally quiet burning process.

Nitrates will sizzle... I was surprised nobody picked up on the sodium nitrate mention. Ammonium Nitrate is a common nitrogen fertilizer, a metal more reactive than ammonia could have been bonded in the plant material to that nitrate ion.. idk. Maybe you're spraying nutes into your flowers? I've never had weed sizzle like that on me, unless I'm playing with black powder.

ok so ill repost part of my post....ALSO THIS SHIT WASNT WET...its not due to dampness or cure guaranteed because you can improperly cure alot of plants and not have this happen also you can smoke a nug straight off the plant if you so choose to ruin it and that doesnt sizzle or taste like metal...so its something else and i only thought maybe strain because everytime i get that awesome taste its been the same lime green looking shit..3 pages of ppl saying oh i bet its wet come on if thats the reason then any slightly wet pot would do this and it simply doesnt...once again anyone actually KNOW the answer here
Soaked in gun powder?:weed:

Of course plants contain metals in many forms. And these many forms are necessary for a plant to grow. Check out the period table of elements, many of you may be surprised how many elements are actually a form of metal.

Did i say flushing and curing were the same? Please see previous post

The plant is genetically bred to be finished when its done producing it's fruits. Flushing will starve a plant of nutes and cause it to stress and finish early if that is your goal by all means flush.
And thats a big negative the chlorophyl is removed during the dry and cure. Have a good one.

ok powerslide....flushing and curing are two different things what are you trying to prove about your statement with that article??...anyway flushing is absolutely necesary it lets the plant know its time to die and fatten up and finish its fruit production and also removes alot of the chlorophyl and nasty taste
