Why does my weed taste like shit?

it could be pests...my plants were infested....the weed dosnt taste like shit but it doesnt get me that high.....its still curing..... any one knows how bad whiteflies effect taste and potency..????

if it tastes like shit like if its unbearable you could water cure some of it? its lighter but its stronger so if its for personal use youre not losing out. just a thought

This forum is just for general questions about growing, just basic stuff! Check a few forums down and you will find one that is dedicated to all phases of "Drying and Curing". I'm pretty sure you'll find that all your answers are already in there!

Um..what is exactly the taste??I cant be bad,considering I smke regs..and it doesnt taste THAT bad.Espiacially since yuve grown it yourself,and have dried and cured it properly??Regs is what it is,because it is cut pre-mature,hermied and seeded,dried in the sun,package early,and stored in vacummed bags n some dark,dirty warehouse for MONTHS before it even arrives to your area....surely the taste cant be that bad???Did you flush the plant?Alot of time,people dont flush long enough,and theyr smoking nitrogen and who knows what else...

how long do you leave them in flower for?is it more indica or sativa? when you pull your herb early it taste pretty shyte. curing is the way to go. how ever good herb shouldn't taste like crap after just being dried for a couple of weeks

no really it was worse than regs. i think that maybe i harvested a little to early. it just seemed like it had been flowering for soooo long. it was actually two of the same bagseed. got about an ounce and still smells good but smokes like shit. im just going to wait and see how the MP5k seeds i have turn out. there about 3 weeks into veg right now and look awesome.

Sorry to get off topic but joints using less weed than bowls doesnt even make sense. Lets say that a bowl and a joint did use the same amount(which isnt even close). I take one hit and clear the bowl(why would you pack more than one hit at a time?) Now i just inhaled all that weed. Roll a joint start smoking and everytime you are not hitting it smoke it just pouring into the air being wasted. Smoke escapes joint, it doesnt in a bowl, end of story

Oh ok..but you cant beat the convenience of a joint..you can roll one up anywhere,smoke one anywhere,without having to wrry about being caught with your expensive glass bowl..also,you cant drop a bowl cus it'll shatter,a joint is disposable incase of an emegerncy.Lastly,to me,joints use less weed,and offer more hits than a bowl..and you can pass it around to get some friends high...bowls are for stingy,coservative people.....that conserve weed....
