Whatsup growers,

Second grow here, my first one failed miserably.

I germinated a Respect 4 gorilla feminised seed in paper towels the seed cracked so i put her in a rockwool cube. Within a couple of days the roots was showing through the cube. So i put her into DWC with tap water ph adjusted for one week then roots shot out of net pot so i introduced 1/4 of the dose of AN Ph perfect. Ppms was checked at 400 and ph was 5.8. I raised the ppms to 600 the week after. Growth was really fast but slowed down and now looking like a vegetable... shes 90% indica.
She is 11 days into nutes. 18 days from germination.

Never done hydro but what I understand is that if the ppms go down in the reservoir it’s eating - if they go up they aren’t eating all their food.

600ppms is a bit much for this age I’d say.

Looks like too much N.

600ppm is what I total out on mid flower (although I am in soil)

This is all new to me also. But all the research i have been doing says slowly take ppms up weekly and have them in 1000ppms for flower

Ive just been looking at my diary of feedings and reading ive been doing over the weeks and a ppm reading last week was 380ppm then i did water change as i do weekly changes. I upped the nutes this week and ppms was 740. So thats where ive obviously gone wrong. Looking at the growth from last week at 380ppms she was growing fine then this week shes crinkled up.

pH corrections will solve a lot of things...and an uncorrected pH will cause a lot of problems. I'd go back and triple check your pH. Good luck.

Thanks for the info, i recalibrate my ph pen before every watering and ph is 5.8. I use Advanced nutrients ph perfect and it automatically sets tap water ph to 5.8. Ph does tend to rise throughout the week but I've been told not to adjust the ph with AN?.

I don't use your nutrients so I can't say, but I've read enough posts here, where this so called 'ph perfect' AN nutrient is being used and there are definite pH issues. Just an observation. Good luck friend.
