The schedule uses grow big the first 5 weekz of flowering. This is contrary to everything Ive been told about nutrients to use during flowering. Whats up with that?
Why does the FF feeding chart call for grow big so far into flowering?

Alot of people think to cut all veg nutes when they switch to 12/12, but really, during the stretch in the first few weeks of Flower, the plants need extra N to supplement their growth spurt. I could be crazy though, and I usually only keep adding the veg nutes for the first three weeks into flower before tapering off.

Search dude grows dyna-gro on youtube. He talks about how plants in flower still need a lot of N and much less P than most bloom nutes offer. I run veg nutes in first week flower and do half grow half bloom nutes the rest of the way until flush.

I was always under the imperssion that plants need veg nutes all the way until its stopped its 12/12 stretch. Thats about 3 weeks in flower to get its maximum veg potential. After this i start to ween my girls off of beg nutes. But i never discontinue altogether.

Because they're more honest then other nutrient makers about what you need?
You just don't start high P&K bloom nutes till week 3 after the flip.....In fact, I believe the problem is the same as breeders reports on "bloom time" being off by 2 weeks.....they DON'T COUNT the first 2-3 weeks of "bloom" as being bloom.....They begin their counts when the flowering has "set" and is actually easy to see. I.E. Two weeks after the "flip"!

Generally speaking you cut nitrogen about six weeks into bloom. Last three you use the micro nutrients and bloom only. Micro nutrients do have low levels of nitrogen to provide the plant. Excessive nitrogen especially late in bloom can affect the quality of the product (hay smell, etc..). Whoever told you that knows just what the fuck he's talking about...

Wrong, wrong, wrong. So are you implying after 2-3 weeks you count that as day one of bloom? When the light cycle is changed to bloom count that as day one. I generally go 55-70 days from 'day one', the day the timer is changed to 12/12 (depends on the strain). Haven't been on this site in years, makes me want to pull my hair out of my head.
