Why don't I just grow weed in nonamended soil.

If all you need to grow or have soil is just compost/vermicompost, perlite, and texture (coco coir or peat moss), why don't I just skip dry amendments and just top dress the non amended soil with animal manure to feed the soil that feeds the plant with nutrients? Yes I probably wont have big and thicc yield but I should produce something right?

Dont see why not, bottled nutes are a new kinda thing, compost works so does composted manure. Cant see why you cant do whatever you want, personally ld compost manuers first. Can be hot!

Good drainage is important.

I was reading the other day(or a video I was watching), that the folks in Humboldt basically set up drip emitters and put their fertilizer in a pile under the plant put the emitter over the pile so it slow drips the fertilizer into the soil....

I never heard of this before but was VERY intrigued by the idea!

now you're thinking like a farmer  I've been looking to experiment with this too, I've been prepping a patch near one of my above ground planters since last fall with compost, wood chips and teas and I'm hoping it'll be good to go by next season. The grass seems to be enjoying it lol

Consider doing some soil tests around where you wanna plant, so long as the soil is consistent it'll be easy to correct for what your soil lacks and get a running start. Or you could do it like the guerilla growers and just dump some potting mix in a hole and call it good lol

My friends wonder why my bud stinks as strongly as it does, overpowering smells when opening jars. That's organic talking, imo.
