Why, exactly 12/12?

Imho , my girls went back to veg for me when the timer got fumbled with while I was gone for a few days. I was asking myself wtf happened...flowers dried up and died but in the end I was able to flower again but I expect my yield would have been greater if not for the F-up, i think?
