Why I may never vote Democrat Again

So which independent party are you supporting now? 'Cause if you think Republicans give a shit about the working class you may need to be rushed to a head trauma center 'cause you're clearly bleeding from your brain. The irony is the republicans aren't voting for it because they know that either they will profit hugely if it doesn't go through or they can blame the democrats if it does and it's painful (it will be). So, I'm not voting for some asshole that can't even be bothered to pick a VP that isn't a complete dead brain cunt and voting for anyone else other than Obama is just throwing my vote away so I'm not voting "Independent". Especially not for that jackass Ralph Nader who's been run by the RNC for decades anyway. Now if you get a ticket with Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich and I'm getting out my voter card...

So if you never have voted D Why would you title the thread " Why I may never vote democrat again"
Typo, it happens. Even I have to admit to being Human once in a while Natrone. :-)

As far as Kludge's comments. Hearsay and Circumstantial evidence aren't allowed in court for a reason, and it's because they are too often bullshit.

As far as Republicans having the interests of workers more in mind then the Democrats. I think that's clearly evident by the fact that they do not desire to tax the rich as heavily.

My boss, is "one of the rich", that the Democrats want to tax for my "benefit", but the truth is with out him, I wouldn't have a job that pays nearly as well as the one I have right now.

His willingness to take a gamble on me not only benefited myself, but has benefited him. To say that Republicans are not for the working man is a myth propagated by selfish people who seek to blame other people for their shortcomings, and have decided that it must be the fault of the rich, because the rich make a convenient scapegoat.

Who's going to fight for them?

Well, I personally will fight for them, unlike those that throw their gauntlet in with the socialists who preach class warfare, I hope to be one of those "rich" some day, and I have made small attempts to work towards that goal.

The only people who oppose the rich are those people that have given up on themselves, and have no faith in their ability to create their own riches. The moment you stop believing that you can create something worthwhile you are showing that you have surrendered. You have quit.

The day I quit, is the day I am on my death bed, breathing my last.

yeah, we're talking about politicians here, you honestly think they have YOUR interests in mind? They both see us all as a bunch of wallets. I can't possibly see where the right wing has your interests any more in mind.

Politicians always verbally bleed for the working class. But when they get elected it's a whole new ballgame. When they don't live up to their promises the blame game begins.

They owe their election to the power players. And they get first dibs.

Example: Every election year they flock to Michigan with the promise of jobs, more money, bringing the auto industry back, and the results have been.........? Please dudes.... Obama's 'I'm gonna save ya' plan is very popular but nonsense.

4 kinds of people in the US.

1. people who get paychecks.
2. people who write the paychecks.
3. people who has money and doesn't do either.
4. people who live on govt entitlement programs.
(did I miss someone?)

Beating up on the check writers may not be so hot for those receiving the checks.
People who receive govt entitlements need the payroll taxes. Fica, futa, fubar, whatever they call em. May not be so good for those people either.

It's very popular to punitive action on oil companies in the form of taxation.
Then give tax credits to research of alternative power sources. Oil corp's are going to neck deep in that tax credit, all ready are. Take with one hand and give with the other.

Of course I'm not an economist so this in opinion based.

Exaclty Cleatis, You would think these people were rooting for a favorite sports team or something, These people actually think Politician X is better than Politician Y... Both parties have become so shitty that their supporters are only left with trying to prove to others that their candidate is less shitty than their rival.

The truth is that Democrat and Republican Politcians/Candidates are like those fake wrestlers on TV where thay act like combatants at odds against their nemisis in the public Arena yet in Private they are best freinds conspiring to fool the public,
yet millions of gullible Americans think its all on the level.

These Gullible Americans are the only thing that gives these crooks any legitimacy.

Why don't you try and fail, try again and fail, pick yourself up and try agian, fail. Say ok I have nothing to lose I'lltry again. Fail. It's not as easy as you make it sound to be. Iv'e worked 80 hour weeks at diffrent ideas and businesses that I have opend just to close the door and have failed once again.I like to write my own paychecks. I hate making other people rich. And in the end right now what am I doing so I can take care of my wife and boys working 7 days a week making other people rich. People that have money don't give a shit about people who don't have it. They look for the easiest way to get rich off the people that don't have money. When I had guys working for me I thought I paid them pretty well. In the end I got fucked in the ass becasue they don't appreciate when people go the extra mile to make sure they were takin care of. I'm on the other end now and I know what kind of money my bosses are bring in and I know whats going out. Enjoy the ride while you have it because it will come to an end someday. Nothing lasts forever.

This is why I may never vote Democrat again. Despite posturing as a party for the working class the Democrats gave lie to that fiction by their actions.

TotalsDemocratsRepublicansIndependentsAll Votes
Ayes:268(62%)

221470Nays:148(34%)
31450No Vote:13(3%)

268 Aye votes, 221 were cast by Democrats.

Of course nothing lasts forever, and what makes you think I'm not trying to get out of the corporate rat race.

80 hour weeks, how about 100 hour weeks. It sucks hard, and there's a lot of initial losses at the beginning.

Right now, I'm feeling like I'm throwing away money with out any benefit except to make other people richer, but I know that that's a risk, and that it takes hard work, determination, and perspiration to make it happen.

What was it that Edison said, "Genius is 99% Perspiration, 1% Inspiration."?

How about, you migrate off the political portion of this site? Problem solved, you don't have to listen to us discuss the candidates.
