Why I think time travel into the past is impossible

Time travel makes no fucking sense to me, never did. It still baffles me that there are scientists out there pursuing it. I'm not saying it's not possible, I just have no fucking clue at all why the fuck people consider it.

Time, in my mind, is just the way we record the length of moments passed.
How the hell do you re-create past events? If you go back into the past then it's not the past, it's present time. The past is the past, because the time has passed.

How the fuck do you even go into the future, it doesn't even fucking exist yet. If you go into the future, it's not actually the future, its the present.

It just makes 0.....Ze-ro fucking sense to me that people consider the possibility of time travel.

Maybe someone can attempt to explain to me

How come Lando wasn't already dead when Han flew faster than the speed of light to Cloud City?

The next time I get pulled over for speeding, my excuse will be that I'm just trying to prolong my life...

Studies have shown that weed can be beneficial to you. Red wine can also be good for you. Speed will prolong your life.

I think if I drink a couple bottles of wine, smoke lots of weed, then go racing down the interstate, I might live forever.

Time travel is really a pretty simple concept:

It takes a 1000 yrs for light to travel to earth from a planet exactly 1000 light years away. Right? So if you move closer to that planet at a speed faster than light - you're effectively going forward in time.

Hope that helps. :)

Just a note about burgers - forget the lean beef stuff. If want really good tasting meat - get Ground Chuck. That shyt is da bomb! And they serve it 100 years from now the same way. I should know - I've been there. :)
