I don't know the reasons, but about a year ago I got and 1/8th of "cali fire buds" that was probably some of the best looking/smelling/tasting shit I've had.
It was a seemingly perfect mix of orange hairs and green/purple tinted bud. The smell was such a great earthy dank coffee skunky delicousness that a few minutes after I broke open the bigger nug the guy blazing with me said something like, "thats was that smell is?! holy shit dude" dont know if it was a phenotype of a strain or something but this shit serously smelled like it was shipped or packaged in coffee.
