The outdoor weed on the east coast where i live has the worst outdoor bud ever. People I know around here buy/grow strictly indoor, plus the weather here is only nice 5 out of the 12 months.
Why is Indo Bud Better Then Out?

yeah, the dankest of the dank outdoor bud only grows in specific parts of the world... understandable that in areas in which it's totally shitty indoor would gain popularity.. the problem is when people who are stuck in these parts fo the world that don't get the opprotunity to try the dankest outdoor bud make claims that indoor is the best when they simply don't have the experience to back that up...
so I just hope the hype of indoor gets dispelled soon, it's great stuff, but it's not superior to outdoor in every way... only in particular ways such as elongated crystals giving the illusion of more crystally bud, strong flavor, intense but shorter highs(which is a pro and a con at the same time, depends on your preference..)
for those who have never tried the dankest outdoor bud... it's out there, one day you will run into it!
You must not live in the south. In the south you can start indoor in Feb/March with cheap ass flos then put outside in April(4-20)/May and can harvest in Ocetober/November. A good 9 months from seed to finish if you work things right. People that grow inside don't usually run 9 months and will never have the same environment as outdoor. Hence why people can get plants that are easily 6 foot and higher outside in a small amount of time. Last year I grew bag seed schwag and my plants were 6-7 feet when i harvested and I started in mid April.
Nice, but given all the electricity you burn with those HPS you may as well have just bought some wood from the streets. Not to mention your harvest will be lack luster due to small veg time/small plants. When you can get 28 pounds off one plant indoor then let me know.....Ahh here is a closest : )

I'm sure he can get 100-150 grams per plant if grown properly. Remember it is only 453 grams in a pound. So that's doable.

Not debating that outdoor can and will produce better yields than indoors. But I'm sorry, no plant that I've ever seen, heard, or read about has ever produced anywhere close to 28 pounds.

You guys should really read the March 2011 issue of High Times,"Outdoor Odessy". It really does tell the story of why people think indoor is superior to Outdoor myth. Outdoor weed is the same as indoor weed in many ways, it's just not as pretty some of the time.THC is not increased by growing a certain strain indoors, the genetics are the same.There will always be exceptions in each circumstance that can effect the plant.Outdoor is not necessarily going to be moldier than indoor, according to Steep Hill Labs.There are however places like Oregon ,etc. that anything grown outdoors will mold, not caused by anything other than bad luck. With that said, my Outdoor is comparible to, if not better than a lot of indoor i've seen, Hard dense nugs with thrich's up the kazoo.I have given it to people who only get indoor they never knew the diff. I thought about doing a indoor grow, but with the results I've had outdoors,why would I go thru the expense of paying the electric company for growing my medicine.I grew 18 plants last year & harvested 13 lbs. Well more than I will use, even at our 1oz/week habit.The rest will be made into bubble hash. I had 2 Fucking Incredible plants that produced 5 lbs,2.5 each of some great hard,frosty nugs,great taste & looks like indoor.Lets see you indoor guys do that.To be fair I do live in Cali. & have a just about perfect climate for outdoor.I'm not saying that indoor isnt great, but given optimal conditions out or in the outdoor will produce very tasty,good looking, Huge nugs that just cant be duplicated indoors without great expense.I realize a lot of peeps dont have a acceptable outdoor location & for them an indoor grow is just the ticket. Whatever the case be for you circumstances enjoy your grow, & share with your freinds.Ther eshould never be a dick waggin contest of who grows the best unless your entering a Cannabis Cup or are willing to have your grow tested by a reputable lab to compare with others.

I agree with everything you just said but outdoor bud has a longer high than indoor bud in 100% of my experiences... I too am an outdoor grower, in northern california.

Outdoor is prone to more problems sudden drops in temp,pests,frost,ect but I've had some outdoor that got u high just looking at it lol it all depends on the grower and how the season is that year,with outdoor though u never have to worry bout power loss and high electric bills and it cost nothing to do if u wanna just throw in the back yard. All in all I've had both indoor and outdoor and in my experience I think they both can be the same quality. Just my .02

well said! all pros and cons depending on where you're at... I happen to live in a very good area for outdoors... if I didn't I'd probably grow indoors...

Thanks! I've been places that had almost no indoor cuz the weather was perfect almost all year around but I've also been places that had almost no outdoor because the grow season was non existent or very short and it made more sence to grow indoor. Like poplars and I said it depends on where you live, some people will say outdoor is better some will say indoor.

really comes down to preference.
but one thing is for sure atleast in my experience, while indoor has a very intense high in the beginning, like the second you hit it, waymore so than outdoor, outdoor has the longer lasting high of all the indoor bud I've ever tried (and I've tried a lot of indoor bud...)
and for my needs in particular, I prefer weeds that last longer and I love outdoor growing, something about it just makes me feel whole....
so for those of you who have jobs or need to be sober during school, you may want indoor bud because you can get super high for an hour or two then go back to whatever you were doing, with outdoor bud oyu smoke some hardcore indica 3 hours later you're feeling tired like you gotta pass out...lol

I personally like to have both, I like the indoor to kill my pain quick(pain from surgeries and out of place disks in my lower back) and outdoor to keep it gone, the outdoor works good at night to keep me from waking up in the middle of the night because of pain.

Give me the same seeds , same soil, same nutes, and container size, one plant being grow indoors, one being grow outdoor, and ill take the outdoor any day.probly grown, There's nothing like some dank exotic outdoor!
