Why is it that?

how come i can never grow a decent plant outdoors? i try to grow a plant outside and it never grows that great. grows slow and doesn't thrive. could it be the genetics mostly? because i am using a decent soil mixture with some blood meal and fish emulsion for water.

if i buy outdoor seeds that have good genetics for southern california will they grow good or grow retarded like my last outdoor seeds?

the temperature here is temperate i am by the foothills and my spot in my yard gets a lot of sun, i'd say 12 direct right now. even more in the summer.

my other seedlings like corn and other plants grow super fast from seed in the same soil and tomatoes do well but why don't any of my pot seeds flourish? i give them all the right conditions. indoor is easy for me.

some strains hate the sun(sometimes die) when temps get high usually just after mid summer, keep trying to find a good outdoor strain.
