Why is miricle Grow so hated on?...

with all the state legal hydro stores around here, prices have really dropped on growing supplies

Promix HP 3.8 cubic feet / 60 lbs $40...Fox Farm nute trio $32...for that cost why even stress over MG products .

I was always told it was bad, so I never thought of using it. but our gardener has a HUGE 25lb sack of and sprays it all over our property. it does make stuff green. and it will kill worms so don't put it in your compost.

The main argument against soil already containing time-released fertilizer is you have little to no control over the amount of nutritients which are released at your plant. And that is tragic esp. because that ratio changes from vegging --> blooming. Also an argument against biological fertilizers which have to be broken down by bacteria first, whereas a liquid mineral fertilizer can change the face of your plant in a single day...
