Why is my new growth yellow after transplant (PICS)

My plants are 3.5 weeks old and I transplanted them 9 days ago. They were green 9 days ago and all my new growth is yellow. My water is PHed and I have them in BioBizz All mix with ferts already in it. Could it be that the roots have not got into the new soil good yet the roots just need to get in the new soil more so it can get the nutrients it needs? Should I just keep giving them PHed water and wait and see what happens?

i agree with bugs..looks like a mg deficiency..dolomite lime sprinkled on the soil will help..
even if the water is phed..if ur getting it from the tap it could be chlorine burning the leaves

I thought it was Nitogen def. Damnit, I am so confused

it would be but you just put it in new soil and it didnt green up,and the tip is all dry and yellow


if it was just nitrogen def,the leaf would just turn yellow then whiteish then it would fall off

and you have little leaves turning yellow,lack of nitrogen attacks the old shade leaves first not the new growth

So when I go to water again in 2 days, should I do the epston salt?? Or should I do it now?? I watered them 3 days ago. Will this burn my plants at all? And 1 tablespoon per gallon? just making sure..sorry

I have some CalMg fer. Should I use that or the salt? And should I use 1/8 strength of the calmg or 1/4? I know the soil has nutes already.

Always flush first is my thought. Usually deficiencies are the last thing I think. Most people over fertilizer, over water and over do everything because there worried the plant will not have what it needs. Personally I have seen plants that were never feed once and they are still bright green. If you do not filter your water start with chlorine poisoning and go from there. Ph-ing your water is a must with a digital pen (yes you chepos don't complain about crap end results when your not willing to spend $80 on a quality ph pen). I can not stress enough to clean and calibrated your ph meter every time you use it, yes EVERY TIME. Most issues are caused by nute lockout where it locks out due to too high or too low ph which makes the plant take up more of one nute and little to none of another nute causing joe shmoe to think he has a def so he feeds and burns out his plant. Seen it two to many times. If you dechlorinate your water and you are 100% sure your ph is perfect than FLUSH anyway there is no harm worst case your still deficient and you lost a day or two rather than your entire plant.



I work at a grow shop and have worked in the industry for a decent amount of time. I am young and always looking for new info and new tecs. I will never tell you I know everything there is to know about growing but I do.know a decent amount if you ever have questions email me. 1 tsp/gal is what I use, and I always let my tap water sit at least 24 hours in a clean bucket to let the chlorine evaporate before I use it.
