The lowest temp is 52 degrees. I dont know what the strain is though. the seeds came from a random guy i bought weed off once
Some strains develop purple in flower due to genetics combined with low temp's (less than 70ish or so). I'd say that's normal coloration & keep with what you're doing.

Yeah, 52 deg F is cool, I like a minim of 70 ish optimon unless you're shooting for the Purp which is simply a bag appeal deal anywayl
I disagree.

I prefer cooler temps myself. Not necessarily during all of flower but definitely the last couple weeks and prefer my outdoors to get hit with at least one frost.

It changes the buzz. I think the high is different and better.

I don't have anything to cite. Just my observation and preference.

I guess we are talking dark temps also. Its not really how cold they get. Its how fast they warm up.

Well, I've got no argument there - I've only grown indoors, so I am out of my element in the woods (when it comes to growing).
Much as I'd like to, the indoor grow does all we require

A cool spell really makes them swell up.

If possible try some late flower cool temps.

I actually do that very thing on purpose. Growing in the winter is a great advantage on using cool temps.
Been actually doing it for years (only vaguely understanding what was happening)
Pretty looking and Potent flower - a good combo.

isn't it the difference between high and low temps that is really important white? like you want something like a 15 -20 degree swing in temps from low to high ? thought i've seen something about that here or there or somewhere..

Generally speaking, yes I try to keep the swing from day to night temps around 15-20 degrees but if it is more it doesn't worry me a bit. If the root zone isn't getting extremely low temps you can have bigger temp swings.
