Why isnt it flowering?

I sprouted a Super Silver Haze approx 6 weeks ago under 12/12.
It sits under 300 watts of 2700k cfl light (approx 28,000 lumens) which I think is enough to make any plant flower.
Its almost 4 feet tall now and im getting worried because my closet is about 7 foot tall.
Any suggestions as to why it hasn't started flowering?

12/12 from start? Hmmm, I got a kandy kush haze that I started on 18/6 then at week 5 switched to 12/12, it showed sex after 1 1/2 weeks. 4 feet! Gadamn mines lst'ed and is only 10 inches tall. I'd give it a couple more weeks - if it gets too tall clone that beotch and try again.

I'm kinda with CyberSecks....check for a light leak. Take all the plants out so you can go in yourself(assuming it's big enough for you to fit. lol), and have the lights out. If after your eyes adjust to the dark, and you can see anything in the darkness, you have a light leak.
Just try holding your hand 6 inches from your face: visible, and you got some "leak hunting" to do.
Other than that, maybe it's a strain/pheno that just doesnt respond well to 12/12 from the get-go, and needs a proper veg cycle(18/6 or 24/0). I would also say maybe a phosphorus or other nute deficiency, but that would be evident on the plant's leaves....here is a link to a deficiency table and explanations so you can check into that as well. http://www.greenmanspage.com/guides/tables.html

I have seen plenty of other 12/12 from bean grows on here as well as other growing sites where sativas started flowering in 3 weeks. Just going on all those, I wouldn't say that it's due to sativa per say, but maybe that particular strain's requirements, if it's not one of the other issues already mentioned. Or am I missing somthing here in regards to sativas?

if a sative takes longer to finsh then its going to take a little longer then normalto start flowering.. what you do toyour plants and the enviroment in witch they grow differs then others on here.. can't really compare yours to theres.. just make sure your feedingthem the proper bloom nutes.

im pretty sure that the silver haze strain is mostly indica. So i dont know about it taking longer because its sativa.
As far as light leaks go, its all set up in my closet which i pratically air tight sealed so i dont know how light could get inside. Maybe a very very small amount but not enough to effect the plant.
Ill keep posting as the days go by. Well figure this out together!

Dont worry about minor minor light leaks.... there is a moon after all.. It just needs time to mature. When it is ready you will know.

I'm at 5 weeks on some Blue Dream and its just now stopped it's stretch and is producing its nugs. I have a bubba kush in the same room that has grape sized nuggs all over so I'm pretty sure it's strain dependent.

Where'd you get the clones??
