Closetcultivators statement is true, just thought id elaborate....Its not legalized because of an absolute shitload of...unfortunate events that all affected marijuana negatively from the 1920 until now, and it seems we just can't break that barrier no matter what....if you watch a bunch of documentaries like I have about the history of marijuana, then you will see that marijuana was just an unlucky victim of politics and racism and just couldnt catch a break lol even with the new..AND OLD research that proved it was harmless, nothing was done....(sigh, heavy sigh)...Im very passionate about this...and it always depresses me when I think about the injustices that have come from this prohibition(god im on a rant lol). Ignorant people can't get outside their lil fucking box and understand it's bigger than legalizing a "drug"(not a drug) for people to get "high", it really is a GIGANTIC issue, it connects to so many other things, medical breakthroughs,fiber,hemp,fuel,medicine for patients,environmental protection,bringing in a shitload of money(trillions I believe),reducing prisons etc etc etc the list goes on and fucking on....Okay im done.

I ll tell u why it is illegal. cause if it wasn't u wouldn't go out of your way to get it like crack heads and pharmy folk do. Its sad but MJ is barely a narcotic, but still strong enough to fuck you up. Soooooooo if it was legal what would happen is all those dirty hippies, wierd old perverted hippies would quickly take the "fun" out of it. Then there is no other strong "relatively" safe drug for people to use. You can get way more intoxed from alchahol, but you'll pay the price so, alot don't. What if it stayed illegal for a little longer till this forieghn importation is under control and the domestic (US and Canada) product can be mainstream for legalization. If it was legal tommarow a lot of big bad commercial growers would have a hellatious head start plus buyig power like a mudder fudder. So if you think about ot long enough you'll figure it out.

Sorry, Im really not trying to be an asshole. Im only 22 myself, but Ive been through a lot of shit, and I would never, ever grow at my parents house. I had to go get a job and move out when I was 17....growing weed comes later when you got your shit together.

it's only illegal because it's wayy too easy to grow it and it's everywhere.. the gov. would never be able to tax it or regulate it withouut having the same laws in place.. and also after all these years that they are saying it's bad and it'll hurt you and all the b.s that comes with it.. they would have to turn around and so o sorry.. we were wrong ... you know that all natural drug your smoking.. it's good for you.. so buy lots so we can charge you for it...

yeah but i mean that for ex. 2$ per gram was tax... the government would get very little in taxes because who really know's how much weed is really out there.. also it's being smoked and grown continually so there is no way to keep track of itt..

Yeah there is a demand for marijuana like NO other drug, because its soooo great, and sooo harmless, more people smoke weed than any other drug, but still does that mean because the gov. will have trouble getting rich off it, we have to be criminals and suffer?? fuck the government, they are losing money fighting it, and still people smoke weed everyday, its not stopping anyone, so they might as well legalize, tax regulate and TRY to get money, right now the gov. is just comletely counter productive to themselves ya dig...
