I never heard of the stuff until I was walking down the cleaning isle of Home Depot a few days ago, I picked one up and read the front and back of it, the price was right at $6.00 a bag, and with Home Depot's good return policy I made a knee jerk purchase and bought 6 bags for my grow tent.
Whether the stuff works or not, I don't know yet as next week I'll be starting some new seeds. I've always used OnaGel fresh linen crystals with a 4" duct booster fan on top of a quart size OnaGel jar and spending a very costly $35 A MONTH for a gallon of Ona Liquid and I'm past ready to ditch that expense.
I do use a CanFan 9000 filter hooked to a 5" CanFan fan for extract in my 3x3 tent but I've always had a backup secondary odor control with the Ona. Ona is just too expensive to spend $35 every month, these Gonzo bags are reusable where as Ona liquid just evaporates.
Since I extract into the bedroom that my grow tent is in instead of extracting the scrubbed air outside is the reason why I've always believed in secondary odor control.
I've read that Gonzo rocks contain Zeolite , and that Zeolite may have a possible relation to Mesothelioma cancer, that's odd, real odd when Zeolite is also taken orally by health nuts to detoxify their body !!!
I've read more reviews on how good this stuff works for odors but it was by people using them for kitchen garbage , cigarette smoky cars, kitty litter boxes , but not that many reviews by growers. This stuff has been out for a few years but it seems like there would be more threads about it on grow forums and I've found very little.
I hope these Gonzo bags work, because buying one gallon a month of Ona liquid is too expensive.
