I just came across this informative blog.
It had a lot of very detailed info on the reasons that marijuana is illegal and what keeps it so now.
Just thought i would post it here for people that don't know about the real reasons.
I am middle aged and there was info here that i had never heard of,a good read:blsmoke:

Yeah, I was pretty surprised. That pot thing on the history channel is one of the most pro pot things I've ever seen. They say (literally): "Marijuana appeals to smart people who want to test the boundaries of their mind." And then a minute later they juxtapose harmless marijuana with Nazis taking speed.

Seems like that article and The Emperor Wears No Clothes have a large portion of related info.. Almost word for word..

simple answer sum people cant handle their pot and go crazy and shoot somebody therefore giving weed a bad name meanwhile the person was crazy to begin with and wanted to kill. Weed is controllable Alcohol isnt really control just laugh and do stupid things drunk. weed is about the feeling. ;)

No actually your totally wrong.
Most crimes of violence are committed by drunks and serious crack,pcp,heroin etc..etc.. drug addicts,they have nothing to do with pot.

Pot is not a drug it is a herb.:blsmoke:

No one goes crazy because of pot.
It is possible that people have been made mad and paranoid by so called friends doing their heads in whilst they are stoned but then,thats once again the evil that lives in man not in marijuana:peace::joint:

There are several GREAT lectures done by Terrence Mckenna that evaluate and discuss the prohibition of marijuana, with some VERY interesting facts about the pulp and paper mills in the 20's, and why we started to use the mexican term marihuana as a scare tactic for the public who already knew and recognized hemp as a powerful resource.

I have them somewhere, and I'll dig them out and upload them for you all to download and listen too.
He also has amazing stuff on other psychoactive's such as LSD and psylocibin. Him and his brother Dennis Mckenna are a major influence in my personal anti-government drug policy!

that can be accounted for with two reasons i think - first - one of natmoon's sources was mostly likely The Emperor and second - it is the accurate story so should be very similar if not the same.
