Why my cucumber look like this?

Most likely - pollination problems. Especially if it was excessively warm during the flowering period. Also, if you're adding manure late in the growth cycle, that can sometimes do stuff like this too, manure is high N, makes the plant want to veg growth. Just my thoughts.

Cueks dont always fill out properly. Sometimes it can be because the stem or branch to the stem was pinched or if it got withered at any time from lack of water. Also a cold spell when they come outside if they were germinated inside can sometimes cause stems to shrink in spots and cause strange cucumbers.

Cool temps and or a lack of water can also contribute to that...still better than store bought any day! and you know what your getting...no pesticides!

I've had those same shaped cukes. Also squash and melons. I've noticed there are not as many honey bees around as there used to be. Butterflies, wasp and smaller bees did most of the pollination in my garden this year.

On a somewhat related note, I grew Armenian cucumbers this year. By far better tasting than regular cukes. Plus you can breed them and save the seeds.

I think it's just a variety of cucumber. Every one I grew looked like that this year and it wasn't because I did anything wrong (well, one bed was hurting by the end of the year on nutrients, but the other was fine, one bed definitely had better produce than the other but they still basically looked the same). Just genetics possibly. I grow heirloom stuff mostly though.

save them seeds brother might save your life

If you want them straight trellis them..helps to insure they don't get pinched off too.. Keeps bugs and other nasties away..... A little curve never hurt anyone ;-)
