yo guys, got 3xSLH seedlings, and 1xFruity Chronic Juice seedling. The SLH are in hydro tubs (flogro 500) ebb and flows, with the fruity chronic in soil, 11litre bucket.

Ive not had any problem whatsoever with the soil one, its been painless and is flourishing. However the hydro ones are so far behind the soil one im beginning to think they will never grow properly. one of the hydro ones is beginning to catch up, but the 2 at the back are just not doing much. The roots on one of em arent even in the tank yet, after nearly 2 weeks after transplanting into the clay pebbles. The roots on the other are growing quite well, but the plant isnt showing any increase in height or leaf size whatsoever. They just seem to have stopped.

Ive never grown in soil before so am suprised at how well its going, but ive done hydro 5times now and its always been from clone, seeds are a fucking nightmare!!

Basically, ive got 2 pics of the shit ones, theyve been in setup for 2weeks now, would i be better off taking them out (damaging some roots along the way) and planting them up in soil to try and get em going?? It seems plants grow much quicker at first in soil??

Any help would be apreeshed, this is doing my nut in!

Im using a 600w HPS in a cool tube with a brand new sunmaster bulb, its just under 2 foot away, the fruity chronic in soil is about a foot tall already and massive leaves, the other hydro SLH is about 7 inches tall, compared to the 2 shit ones that you can see there which are about 3 inches tall....i havent fertilised at all yet, just been using plain ph'd water at 5.8, with a couple drops of superthrive, liquid silicon and canna rhizotonic. The plants are looking a little pale/yellow though.

I would add some nutes mate
I think the 1 in soil is growing better
Because of the nutes that r in soil
The 1s in the hydro r probably hungry
I would deffo b using 1/4 strength nutes by now
Hope this helps

Ah well i didnt really transplant them mate, just had the rockwool cubes sat on a dinner plate for about a week till a good root base formed then put em into pebbles. From what ive read this encourages a denser root system?

Cheers for the advice though, gona start using nutes 2moro, will report back!
