Why the pale green, even the stem

This plant is 12 weeks in bloom. Which is past it's due date but trichomes are still cloudy/clear with an occasional Amber. I'm harvesting this week just wondering why I got so pale. Is this a lack of nitrogen? It has been 100% organic grow. The strain is Jordan of the isle, ambrosia

Did you grow it outside the whole time? It's clearly still a few weeks away from ripe, it still has lots of white hairs. Probably mid to late October. Why it's light green? Could be lack of nutrients, bad pH or rootbind. I would give it a shot of some kind of general fertilizer, Miracle Grow 20-20-20 or whatever. Probably won't need more than one shot at this point.

No it was grown under a 600w enhanced hps. I take em out for sun shine a few hrs a week or when I get the urge. The outside plants buds are way different in color than those under the lights

My guess is its root bound, the roots start to rot in that situation and it can look a lot like that! Take it out of the pot and check when its fairly dry.
Check for brown roots as well. Over watering and drowning the roots can cause it too!

Holy crap, you had that under 12/12 for 12 weeks and it's still not ripe? Weird. Maybe that strain requires even fewer hours of light than 12 to ripen. Might make it less potent under fewer hours though.

The leaves yellow and the hairs turn strongly orange to clearly indicate ripeness with this strain. Sativa dom 80+ days to flower<~~~~~google is your friend

Here's the roots. 5 gal fabric pot. Fox farm ocean forest and all the organic amendments. Not root bound by any margin . The root web reached the bottom and all sides. A lot of the fine capillary like roots shook off with the soil. There isn't a root in here larger than 3mm. It's a vast web of capillaries. My hydro plant did have a bigger root system but they were larger with less surface area. Here is the cut bud. I'm from Texas and I give it to the isles Canadians when it comes to the gene pool. This is a mid 90's strain and man I had to clean my phone with xylene to get the sap off of the screen.

This is what I use to probe and loosen the soil in my fabric pots. The tip divides and won't cut. It's made like a Liposuction cannula...don't ask. Swiss-cheese the soil when it gets dry and separates from the side of the pot.You can see the whole soil ball relax. Usually takes 20 to 30 strokes then water. Today's clone harvest
