Hey Dude’s
A lot of organic nutrient packs (build a soil, green gro, etc) will have Bio char in the recipe, and other people have been talking about top dressing with it. Isn’t it better the soil rather than topping it? Does it slowly make its way into the soil? In my mind it seems like it would be broken down by then. Does it act like a housing for micro and fungi at the top of the soil to help better break down nutrients?
I’m asking because my soil contains bio char and if it works better to top dress with it I’m down. I don’t want to make my soil basic though. I did that one time, I mixed too much biochar in my soil. Terrible idea.
