Why Won't my Seeds Sprout? HELP!!

I just got 5 king's kush seeds from green house and 1 Humboldt seed from ch9 off attitude. I germinated them in a glass of water sitting on a heat pad in total darkness. when i checked on them about 17 hours later all had tap roots so I planted them straight into fox farm soil. I put them in a humidity dome under 2 fluorescent lights and let them be. The next morning when i checked on them 3 had sprouted (1 Humboldt and 2 king's kush). It has now been a week and the other three haven't sprouted. I have kept the soil damp but made sure I didn't over water. I don't think I buried them too deep either; i just moved enough dirt to cover the seed. Anyone have a clue what the problem is or am I being impatient?

I woud use Light Warrior for the fist two weeks then
use ffof. I give'em like 1/2 tsp of big grow while
their LW after the first week.

thought ur not suppose to give em anything besides water when they r young

Ok, I know I haven't been growing that long but every little piece of info I have read online and in books(I have read a lot) said the seeds have enough energy to last the first couple weeks. Giving them any little bit of nutes is gonna kill em dead...that much I do know.

So i just dug up the 3 duds and one seed's taproot didn't grow at all from the time i put in the soil and the other two had a tapper about 1/4" but they looked yellow and rotted.

its called damping off...and it happens
next time soak them for about 12 hrs and plant them....maybe you will get some better results

When starting from seed in light warrior you need to start giving nutrients around day 5. It's not soil, it's an agroponic medium and contains beneficial microbes that will assist in root formation and nutrient uptake, but it will not provide nutrients on it's own. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and around day 7, without any nutrients I had severely stunted growth. As soon as I added 1/4 strength grow every other day, things starting moving along nicely.
