Wick system rez, next to pot?

Hi guys and girls, I have been building a pc grow box and wanted to use a wick system. Since I have a bit of space between my pots(not enough for another pot ) I was wondering if I could put the rez in there? So the nutes would go sideways and then into the pot. I would probably have to lay the wicks up and over the edge of the rez and go in the side of the pot if it was to work at all. What do you think, anyone have any experience with this?

Hey, So what are you trying to acheive? You can add a wick which will suck the moisture up and into the pot but i believe there are alot of easier, better ways of doing this

I am trying to have the water move horizontally basically. Instead of raising the case up on top of a rez which defeats the purpose of the stealthyness. Just trying to use all available space and keep everything inside the case to be as stealthy as possible. I will be gone for 2-3 days at a time so I want a system that is pretty much foolproof and will keep them watered till I get there. Probably not possible but yanno, its worth a try.
