Will 2 13 watt helical cfl work for 3 seedlings?

Dont really have a wide budget but do you think this will still work or do i need to buy more cfl's?



or does a flood light work if it's my secondary light resourse?


My Plants are three inches high but they have only one pair of leaves. i dont think thats sopposed to happen..

For three seedlings no problem.
Within a week get another two of those CFLs . A week after that another four...etc. depending on size of plants.

I didn't think that it would be that costly.
Do you think it would be easier if i just buy 4, 28 watts bulbs?

get as many cfls as you can. No if's, ands, or buts.Thats the way it is with cfl's. With what you have now, maybe one plant until its out of its seedling stage. And if your plants are stretching like that, even with only 13w bulbs, you don't have your lights close enough.
Walmart has 6 26w bulbs on sale for 12.00 right now. if you need more sockets, buy some outdoor lighting cords for 3.00 on sale now at menards.y splitters, 1.50 all the time.
Its waht you need and will have to do to grow with cfl's. Good luck bro.

P.S. rebury your plants so only the leaves are sticking out. This will help the stretching.

Then make a purchase on the street for $300 oz. or so. Suddenly $100 investment into a few CFLs does not sound so bad.

That should be about right. I saw elsewhere on this forum that CFLs put out 60-70 lumens per watt.

its coo for now but get more light man ..its needed u prolly need 4 each for bud and veg

Wal Mart Bulbs are cheap but are they as good as name brand lights?
and what does ''Daylight'' mean on Wal Mart Bulbs?

At Lowes theres a 100 watt HID light for 13$ And Theres a 10 pack of 4' flourescent tubes which have an output of 3,000 lumens for 14$/Or Should I Just stick to the CFL's?

At Lowes they have a hid 100 watt bulb for 12$ they also have a 10 pack of flourescent cool white 4' tubes for 15$ but i dont know how to set it up yet. frustrating..lol

You ask questions about one thing and get another. You wont get nearly as good results on those tubes as you would cfl's.Walmart bulbs work great. Lowe bright effect bulbs are trash.

Ok. I Went to wal mart and got a 4 pack of 23 watt 2700k rating. Then i got a ''Grow Light' Flourescent 2 ft Tube That Admits A Light Purple Light. Is This All I Need?
