will about 800 watts be suspicious to the electric company?

basically i plan to use a 4ft 8 lamp t5 for flower and my already built closet for the mother and i will be using cfls for that with all the fans its looking to be 800 or so watts. maybe more. maybe less i cant get a full calculation. but i need to know if thats gunna get me caught.

If you are really worried about the power consumption. You could offset your power usage in the rest of your house by changing out every light to cfl from incandescent or from cfl to led. Better yet turn down the temp on your water heater a few degrees.

i live in a small town in missouri. im only growing for personal and gettign rid of excess to friends. i might just get a tent and grow 5 decently sized plants instead of a sog. popo dont care about size. number will fuck you

What are your temps like?

How tall are those plants?

What sized pots you growing in?

Are you planing to add some reflective material?

I'm using 3 gal and 5 gallon pots with fox farm. The plants are about 4foot and thriving. When I need to I use dutch masters fertilizer. I have an exaust fan in the ceiling. I plan to use reflective stuff when I can afford it and I keep it 76f lights on 68 lights off

Are you seriously sweatin over 800 watts ? Shit ive got class A/B amplifiers in my hi fi system that use 1,200 watts & require 20 amp circuits , just in the 2 channel hifi we use 2,100 watts , another 4,000 plus watts in the home theater system plus central air & whatever else is on in the house , in my big grow i was running 24 600 watt hps , 6 520 watt T-5's & another few thousand watts in fans pumps & misc shit , that grow ran for 6 yrs & not a word from the power company & i evem set fire to the transformer on the pole from suckin so much amperage & all they did was install a larger transformer .

Power companys are a for profit business , pay your bill on time every month & not a single person will ever see how much power your running , the late payments & shut off notice shit makes em notice but as long as yo pay on time you can burn 10,000 watts & they wont say shit .

how does this help with the electric bill unless you have an electric water heater,which most don't???

Well...... a lot of power companies are CO-OP, but I agree with you. It's cold where I live, and winter a long time of the year. When its subzero for a month people can have some pretty large electric bills.

You know your bad ass when you set fire to a transformer lol.

800w is very small bro. Just be safe and understand how many amp's and circuits work and what size fuses they are on. Make sure your extension cords are high amp rated and don't get warm or hot when you touch them after running a while... 800w is like 1/10th the size of some peoples' "Small" grows so sounds like you're just getting started just keep paying your bill on time :-).
