Will buds fatten after adding 150w HPS or is it too late?

Hi everyone, I've been flowering for 33 days and so far my buds look pretty small. It is looking to be about an 8th the way it is right now and the plant is 16" tall. I ordered a 150w HPS light and it should be here today. Will this cause my buds to fatten up before harvest or is it too late? I knew I should have added it before, I just didn't have the cash.. now I'm feeling like this grow could have been a waste because the yield looks hella small... oh by the way I am using about 200w of CFLs and thats it right now.

if you get your 150 watt hps in and flower for 6 weeks or so they will definetly fatten up quite a bit get some cfls in there with the hps

Flower for 6 more weeks? Or 6 weeks total? I have been flowering for almost 5 weeks. How many more to go?

you could easily flower for 3-4 weeks imo... just add the hps to your cfls, and that red light should really liven things up.. also the best way to tell they are finished is by looking at those sexy trichomes... milky white to amber colored is what you want

Are you counting your flowering days from the first day of 12/12, or from when the first pistils appeared? "Flowering" doesn't officially start until the pistils appear.

You're right, I am counting from the day I first switched it to 12/12. The pistils appeared about a week after the switch. Is it normal for buds to be small at around 25 days flowering then?

I am just over 25 days flowering, my buds are just a little larger than yours, I wouldn't worry, they look great and will fatten up with time and with the addition of the 150w HPS.

Whoa, I just checked out your grow and trust me, your buds are way bigger than mine. I got my HPS in the mail today but have no extension cord and I'm broke so we'll see when I can get it runnin..

You've barely started flowering. Get all the lights set up as close as possible and maintain all other variables well and she'll take off.

That looks like a pure sativa or at least heavy sativa. Do you know what it is or is it a bagseed?

You could be looking at 12 weeks for flowering, not 8, and that would fit with why it's not looking very fat yet.
