Will clones from a stunted plant be stunted as well?

First time poster here, hoping to get some answers from more experienced growers.

Growing 12 plants from seed. 1/2 gallon pots / soil / 4x4 tent. My plan is to re-veg the best 2 after flower, and take clones off of those.

The plants are healthy, but because of the very small pot size, the growth is somewhat stunted and the plants are small ( I'd say about 50% the size they'd be if they were in 3 gallon pots).

Question: if I take clones off of these, and plant them in large pots, will they grow normally? Or will they will they continue to be small, slow growing plants?

Nope. The clones will grow normally if they have enough space, light and good eats. Unless of course the plant isn't a mutant little one to start off with then the clones will grow as their momma does.

If they were bad genetics to begin with clones will be the same if the genetics were good but you effed up clones will have the good genes as long as you don't stunt em.

Nice! I think the rocks help a little bit for gnats. But the main reasons I use them are:
1) Keeps the soil from sloshing around when watering.
2) Absorbs the water into the soil faster when watering.
3) Keeps the pots from drying out quickly. Adds a day or two between watering, depending on pot size.

#3 is the biggest reason I use rocks. There are downsides though. They're kinda a PITA to add and remove at the end of the grow. And they add considerable weight if you use #7 or larger pots. I like em for my small tent grows. Not sure if I'd use em for a big grow though.
