will clones taken from a mother thats been through stress have poorer genetics

hi there, I have a mother plant that has twice looked about dead, the first time she wasn't getting enough light (energy not hours of light) and recently shes gone nearly 2 weeks without waater andlooked very dried out almost dead. If i can get her back to good health again will she have poorer genetics? i have some smaller plants i could take clones off and make a new mother but this would be time consuming. thanks

Nope, the clones will have the exact, same genetics as the mother, regardless of what you do to her.

If a mother plant has been through stress then it will be taken over to it's clones yes.

I think it is BS that it loses potency (I believe what I have seen/smoked) but I am no scientist...

A clone is an exact copy of the mother plant as far as genetics go.. It's 100% exact - that's why it's called a clone and not a baby.

If the mother is stressed, then you take a clipping - the clipping have the same stress, but if you get the conditions 100% correct again, the plant will be fine... So, if the mother is a good plant and grows well, is full and green, the clone will be too..

You can stress the shit out of the mother - and it won't matter with the clone - it will grow as a normal plant provided you are taking care of it well.
