That's roughly 1/2 gal, you should think about moving up to a 10" -12" pot at least. The 10" are considered 3 gallons, but they are really more like 2.1-2.2, and the 12" are considered 5.

if they are tapered... a 12 inch is only a 8.5 quart... 2 1/2 gallon

I have grown monsters in a 8 inch pot (3 quart)....10 inch is 6.5 quart... thats perfect

It all depends on how bushy you want your plants to be. The bigger the pot the taller they will grow so if you keep them in the smaller pots they'll bush out.
