OP you might find my thread of some interest to you.

RIU is a great community but there are a lot of people who post stuff just for the sake of posting ,when in actual fact they have zero hands on experience with LED grows(or maybe they do but they just suck at growing), I built a very simple light out of ridiculously cheap Chinese led SMDs (Blue and Red only ,which I believe is all you need as those are the most effective PAR wavelenghts)and in about 3 weeks I should have conclusive results as I will be harvesting my autoflowers, these lights have done me real good for the veg phase and I have no reason to doubt the final result will disappoint given the simplicity of my rig.
I am not going to bother responding the the self acclaimed know-it-alls here, and this post is for the OP and the OP alone, take a look and decide for yourself, but I assure you will have a far better understanding about LEDs than by listening to any of the posts so far.
I would also suggest you also focus on other aspects of the grow such as nutrients , watering schedules, ventilation etc, as it all adds to the final result.
best of luck.
