Will low daytime temps effect flowering?

Lately do to the cool temps outside my flower room has been at 62 F during daylight and 50's during the night period. Will this slow bud growth or should I just let it be? What would be the minimum temp where I should start getting concerned day/night?

Personally I think your already there.. low/mid 50s is too chilly.

yes ur in the danger zone there with those temps, get urself a oil radiator very cheap to run and not so expensive get a small one in uk for about £30 and they are gr8 for bringin up ya temps especially at light out times ! look for a second hand one i bought mine for £8 old style but the plants r not fussed, lol, plus they have thermostats built into them old or new ones so u rearly need to get some heat source in there asap,,, and yes very low temps will affect yield ! ideal temps are 70/75 lights on and 10f lower for lights off ( roughly )

I started without using a heater I was getting low 60's in my 24/0 period, amazing what a difference it made putting the heater in there, plants grew fatter and faster. Now temps outside are down in the 20's and plants are getting close to an end so I don't know if purpling/darkening leaves are from the genetics or cold (on a strain known as Tangerine).

Use a heater of some sort, I got an electric heater with digital timer and thermostat for around 40 bucks, it's 28 degrees out my room with lights on stays around 72, I always measure temp furthest from my heat source. My room with lights off, well the heater runs up there so it's probably staying around 68 (furthest plant from heat source)

is there certain strains that dont mind those temps? I like how I'm getting great purple colors but I'm worried my yields will be effected

what would be ideal temp day/night? what would be the lowest night temp you guys would feel comfortable with?

Try and keep it above 65 mate.

ya anything below the high 60's is a no go in my opinion .. Can you turn down your exhaust to let the lights heat up the room a little.. fan controllers are like 15 bucks..

yep, problem solved, I ran ducting from my furnace. 70 F while the light is on. Ill see what the night time is in a few hours. Thanks again rui for excellent advice
