will male pollen affect immature females.

Hey Community.

I'm Currently growing a few girls under an 18/6 schedule. For twelve of them hours I've been flowering a CS treated male so I can collect the pollen when the sacs open (I put it in a dark box for the remaining 12 hours). I do not have the room to put it anywhere else, and we are having 14 hour days here at present, so I don't want to take it out to my grow patch only to have it go back into veg, or pollinate my girls that are nearby.
SO..... My question is, if the sacks open around female plants that are in veg, will it have any adverse effect on them? The females are two week old and are from feminised seed stock, so they've never displayed their gender. I'm expecting the nuts to bust open within the week, so any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If there's no female pistols to receive the pollen, then no pollination can occur. But, as far as residual pollen sticking around when the females DO start to display pistols...hmmmmm? I don't know how long pollen can remain viable.

Thanks guys. That's put my mind at ease. I don't mind a couple of seeds if there is a little pollen still floating around. Just don't want a catastrophe. I'll be taking the ladyboys outside as soon as their nuts start to open, so it should be sweet.

I have had stray pollen before sorta "trigger" the female to start flowering. Guessing some of the preflowers got pollinated and the plant started producing hormones for flowering which flipped the plant to flower (regardless of light schedule) and she even produced viable seeds under 20hrs of light schedule.

Interesting. Cheers mate. I might drop the lady-boys outside and cover them after 12 hours. We are having 14 hour days here at present and I'd hate the CS treated plants to start vegging before the sacs open. Better safe than sorry I suppose.
Thanks again man.
