Will my plant be alright?

My plant had a burnt leaf on it so I thought it would be harmless to simply remove it from the equation by sterilizing a pair of scissors with rubbing alcohol and removed the leaf now im being told that it was a mistake because it helps the plant even when its on the verge of death. I thought by me removing the leaf it would actually save the plant some energy by not having to use all the elements it takes in on that leaf.

Will my plant be alright its young but it still has a few other leaves.

Eventually every plant will start to lose leaves, let nature do her thing :) Back to point, yes your baby will grow beautifully. No nutes for atleast 2 weeks!

Yeah - general rule of thumb is don't remove a leaf until it begins to fall off. Don't leave any dead leafs laying around the grow though as they can attract unwanted mold. You could probably cut 90% of that plant off and it would still come back. Just depends how long you want to wait.

as others have said, no worries... I know how you feel though. I am a newbie and have been going through my own scare... thought I killed my baby. But these plants are way more resilient than many of us think starting out. I believe it comes from both a lack of knowledge about horticulture and also all the talk of nutes and specific details we see people following... makes people think the plants must be super sensitive and fragile, and at certain times or certain kinds can be, but in general they are not...

It'll be fine but u do have insect marks on the leaves, prob small thrips.

ALWAYS REMOVE 50% DAMAGED LEAVES - THESE ARE A WASTE OF ENERGY FOR THE PLANT TO FIX AND WILL GROW BETTER WITHOUT. Remember there are a certain amount of auxins/hormones in the plant so when u prune you are re-directing growth/energy to other areas. ;)
