nope. use a water based paint, make sure your extractor is working well, and all should be just fine! The extra airflow will dry the room faster too.

I would roll the paint out instead of using a rattle-can to cover the wood. I think you will need a few(3+ maybe) cans to get a good coat to cover the grain on the wood. I was browsing Lowes paint area for a hour or so lookin at the ingredients an lookin for the least expensive product. Trying to figure out the cheapest route to keep this ghetto grow going...

So I found this Valspar - High Hiding Primer at the end of the spray-paint section @ Lowes, hmmm "hides previous color" thinkin that will cover better, not as many coats. I have read numerous times that 1 gallon will cover approximately 400sq. ft so, 1 quart should do approximately 100sq. ft. Well I barely have any left after applying 1 coat to the box:

It covers great, no gloss what so ever. I think that would be a easier way to go, less fumes for sure an 1 can @ $6.98+tax should be able to cover your interior. For less than $5 i grabbed some cheap 3" roller & tray... or just brush it out, either way ya go!

hope that helps ya some.:bigjoint:
