GUYS I AM SO HAPPY!

Thanks for all your advice although I don't need to worry about moving anymore.

I took someone's advice and scouted around the cornfield.

Turns out...behnd the cornfields is just endless woods for a while!! I found a perfect spot and carried her back there. There was an area of woods where it was open sky, with low grass and a few bushes / trees here and there.

I put her in a spot that is surrounded by bushes (kind of like a small tree-line) but she is tall enough that she reaches above them to the open sky. It seems like a pretty legit spot.

I hope she will get enough sun now....the majority of it will be mid day-afternoon sun. The only dillema i face now is the frost in New York.

I now have a much longer period to let her finish...at least another few weeks. Will she *know* to be ready before the first frost hits? I planned on letting her go until Nov. 1. She just started flowering 2-3 weeks ago and I can notice in the past few days she's really starting to show pistils all over.

Does she have enough time to finish before the first frost?

Honestly man... Just get yourself a good loop.. then you can check the trichomes... its all about that... your a little ways away from the time to worry... I would try and get some chicken wire in there to get the deer away... They and other animals love pot.

thanks for the heads up. I think she's pretty well hidden now. Just have to worry about her being ready before the frost comes....

Guys if i remember correctly, she showed her first pistil about 3 weeks ago. It took a while for her to start up (due to moving her to a diff location) but now she is going strong into flower.

I also guess she is 70/30 Sativa dom. I figure i have until mid October to harvest at this point. I hope she's ready. That gives her a total of 9-11 weeks....

what do you guys think?

Well since there was a wet spring the frost has nothing to do with the harvest of corn.I seam to know a lil bit about that We farm around 600 acres.I really am in indiana We harvest corn when the moister content get down to 13% With the price of feul to dry the corn the farmer will be leaving it out in the fields even longer Your plants look just like mine so you are not far!!!!! So good luck the first frost is set for like the oct23 or something but a lil frost will not hurt will really bring out the color of the purple you hav.My neighbor never brings his in until the 3 killer frost and swears by it for some reason

wow, that makes me feel a lot better dude!

Regardless, i moved her out of the cornfield just to be safe. And the spot she's in now is 100% better!

haha for sure bro.

i have a question. I have been giving her minimal fertilizers, just some diluted 15-30-15 green food all purpose plant food. Last week I also bought composted cow manure to use as a mulch in the planter.

Should I be giving her anything else? I've heard molasses is good, but what about for outdoors? (sugar = bugs?)

Move the plant friend. You should be able to transplant it into a 5 gallon bucket if you get enough roots and can nourish it back fast enough.

Somewhat hesitant to tell you what kind of nutes/additives to give her because of not knowing what all you have given already, etc. That's part of the fun is trying to figure it out anyway. I play with mine just to see what happens. :) Did my first and only real indoor grow in '80-'81, and the rest off 'n on outdoors until now, just every year or so raising a few or whatever here and there. I just like to experiment and get out there and play. :peace:
