Will someone evaluate this Sativa

It's 9 weeks into flower and seems happy. I'm not sure what I should be looking at as far as bud development. I know the buds are growing a bunch of leaves and seem to be progressing.

9 weeks? Eek! The plant it's self looks pretty healthy, but the bud development looks pretty stale this late in the game. I know some Sativa's can go up to 14 weeks, but she should look a little fuller by this time. Do you know the genetics or is this a bagseed?

I thought bud growthhad slowed down. I have 400 wtts of CFLs and the buds are pretty close to the lights (within 4 inches). I had wondered about light leaks since it kind of looks like it it's vegging again. I have two cabs side by side and the small one it's on 24/7. It would have to be coming in through my intake filter. Thanks for confirming my suspicions! I'll check it out ASAP. There it's definitely need calyx growth. I just expected less lag growth by now.

I just checked. There was a very small amount coming in my intake filter. I fixed it. I will check my timer good this weekend and make sure it's not shutting off.

Well I hope it turns out to be great stuff as your yield is looking to be small. Plants look nice and healthy so my guess is genetics. I have found I need to be ruthless in selection of worthwhile sativa phenotypes. Some may produce small returns while others want to flower forever. Good luck.

4oo watts of cfl is that actual or equal too 400 watts of reg light? yeah at 9 weeks something went horrible wrong lol you should have at least golf ball sized colas by now and it looks like a plant in week 4 flower

400 watts actual, 2700k. Bagseed . It's weird because the buds are actually heavy and about the diameter of a golf ball in most places. The longest bud is about ten inches long, fully connected from stem to stem. There are just more leaves than I expected.

Yeah that looks more like what I would expect to see. I guess you never know with bagseed. I dont think I did anything wrong. I could have done some things better, for sure. Like I said, the buds feel really heavy and have lots of calyxes and hairs, theres just a TON of leaves on them. On a good note, the indica plant I just harvested (first plant, ever!) is the bomb and its still curing. Definitely keeping a few seeds from her.

Why are there water drops on your plant, and did yountake that pic duringbthe dark cycle or did you just turn the lights off to take that pic?

I took it during the light cycle. I decided to foliar feed it while I had it out. I'm pretty sure it's root bound, and someone suggested foliar feeding.

I'm not sure what's wrong in your situation, but you should really be much further ahead

my gals which I believe are sativa dom, were tripped six weeks ago, but were very slow out of the gate and didn't show any gender signs for at least 2 weeks

check out "my Mexican Ditch Weed" link, and you can see where I'm at after 42 days of 12/12 (and not saying I'm doing fantastic)

Well im suggesting u dont foliar feed in flower anymore.
Does that seem like a good idea to get buds wet?
Mold.

a light leak in your entire flower cycle?
Thats not a small mistake man its a large one.

I hate learning the hard way just like u do,
that why u read facts not opinions and
go with proven methods over suggestion...

The pics u showed us off your plant looks more like
your growing some horrible green wheat..
Moldy too cause youve been spraying them with water.

Good luck man hope you can work it all out.

the only time ive seen this .. is with a few realllllll sativas.. 20 week flower time sativas.. and or .. Light LEAKS.. for sure.. your room isnt DARK enough.. needs to be PITCH BLACK... take your plants out.. go inside the box.. shut everything.. SIT for 20 minutes to 40 minutes. your eyes adjust to the dark.. and will allow you to see even the tiniest SPEC needle head sized light spots.. u need to get rid of all the light coming in.. what i would do is . the room thats on all day.. take the lights.. and move them closest to the wall that is shared with the flower room.. so that were ever there is a light leak.. u can see it 100x better.. so try that.. get rid of the light leak.. and i would START OVER.. that plant isnt going to finish up properly.. it will more then likely Hermi.. and not to mention u could prolly put a clone into flower of that plant and have it finish before that 1.. honestly.. but if u are going to take it to finish.. just get a 60-100x microscope.. and pull when your trichomes are ready.. kuz ull never be able to tell when its done otherwise. lol.. i had this happen and it screwed up the grow and i couldnt figure it out.. turned out it was my timer even with the timer pins up in the off position.. it was turnin the lights on a few times during the dark period. causing my plant to try to flower and try to veg.. and it hermied.. seeded itself.. and wasted my time. but the genetics dont look bad.. but it doesnt look SUPER SATIVA AT ALL.. just wierd growth kuz of light.
