will the police come to my home if i have 8/600watt hps. is electric a problem?

hey i was always told that indoor grows get raided because of power consumption but a lot of people grow indoors and don't have any problems, should i be worried and if so how does everyone get around this because i haven't heard of this being a problem in a long time.

Youll need to run 2 or more rooms and 4 being the most in one room. When 4 go off, 4 more come on.

As long as you pay your bills on time and your not stealing electricity. You'll be good.

In the UK we dont have that problem. Police dont have access to electric supply records etc. But we do have heat cameras on helicopters. The smell should be your main concern. Make sure room is properly insulated and check you cant smell it from outside. That's where carbon filters come in.

Police don't need access to power supply. The power company tips them off because, like I said you live somewhere for x amount of time and use x amount of electricity that whole time, the power company sees that. All of a sudden your using a shot ton more and it send a red flag to the power company, and they tell authorities that they think there illegal activity at this address. Then your fucked

from what i understand, no warrant is going to be issued for a power bill unless it is completely outrageous
the police would need something else, a tip maybe, or the ideal thing is to find mj leaf/trash in your publicly available garbage
so if you don't think there's any chance of something else being found by a LEO investigation, a warrant probably won't happen

It's not like you start growing today and your end up in jail tomorrow. Things take time, once they get the word, do use cameras, microphones, look into your backround, fly over your house these things take time. Once they have what they need they get a warrant, most of the time Feds don't have those anyways. Once your doorbell rings and your think your pizzas here, your gonna get your ass beat to the floor and have a gun in your face

pay for your electric AND a home fuse will only support 3k watts, so ur at 2500,. add ur washer/kettle/frige/dryer

u need to put a seperate circuit and fuse for ur grow

I don't know why you want to go nuts with the electricity if you're not in a legal state. A couple 1k-watters will get you plenty yield. Is it that imperative that you run a fields worth plants in your house? Providing meds for patients is one thing, getting greedy is another.

Half those lights and you will not have a problem.

Have a buddy running 8kw lights in one room at his house... he just changed setup to 6kw in one room and 6kw in another room. So 12kw in his basement alone. He has med card and has legal amount of plants but still they wouldnt know about card till after the raid. Hes yet to be raided. Im running 3kw right now and industrial ac for $250 bill a month which isnt bad.

That's quite a bit of current use, but now that the cold weather is coming, it shouldn't be TOO obvious.

Some of those portable heaters use 1500w. And with all the people who have electric heat, bills are gonna be jumping all over the place depending on the weather, so i don't think you would have anything to worry about.

This is what you do, Call your power company and explain to them you are putting in 4,5,6 space heaters with the same wattage as your lights, Ask them if you need them to come out to the house to hook them up or do anything to ensure its not too much juice, act pretty stupid about electricity and explain that you need these because its too expensive to install/use gas. you just replace your furnace with baseboard heating or an electric heat pump. What if you had a hot tub, heated driveway, heated pool, night time floodlights. the list of consumer shit you can plug into your walls in endless, oh whats that your starting a welding hobbyinst shop in your garage? I wonder how much juice that would use. It doesn't matter how big your bill is, your only giveaway is the spikes in the usage. Make sure you contact the company and ask for recommendations. Use words like my megawatt usage(stupid).Those telephone people write reports for every time you call. If for some reason there was a flag raised they will look at your account and have a record of the call and concern. Then all of a sudden you have a legitimate, forewarned excuse for excess power consumption. Summertime its a air-conditioner, no, 4 of them. 10,000 btu bitches, and you just installed a pond with a fountain that uses a big ass water pump. You don't need to call all the time to ask permission to hook shit up, your calling because you want to make sure there's nothing special required of you, from the electric company, for these improvements, which of course there isn't.

I still don't get why power companies would in essence cut their own throats, when they could just charge you and be happy, go fucking shit up, and flap lips. Pretty shitty if you ask me, unless all the power companies are ran by non smokers and non drinkers.......
