Will these survive

i grow outdoors and recently checked on them and something has ate the leaves off the right on the top on all them except one. Will they survive. I was hoping since plants grow leaves then they'd just grow back, roots and stems are fine. If you can tell me the science on why they won't survive that would be nice too. I'm going to wait it out see what happens but if there's science behind it I won't waste time

Say hello to your friendly neighborhood deer
That can't be what it was. I live in suburbs and it was in a fenced area. Neighbors on all sides of me. Bushes along the fence line. In my 6 years of living here never seen a deer near here. I'm thinking it was a rat or mice, some type of rodent. They were behind my shed which I know has rats in it

Scientifically it won't grow because it's dead

You would be surprised. We actually put food plots out for deer in cow pastures. We fench the food plot off to keep the cows out. A deer can hop a six foot fench from a stand still. They are more active at night.

There are a few houses near me and we have deer.

Not saying that you are wrong. Just saying that suburbs, fenching, and sometimes deterrents don't stop deer.

Out of curiosity, wouldn't a deer leave tracks making a 6 ft jump over a fence?

<--- Was this guy.
You would be surprised at how few tracks deer leave. You can see them in soft or muddy ground. In the dry summer with hard ground they wouldn't leave many.
