Will this light/lamp work for my 1 plant or kill it?

Is this anygood to me if i convert it in to a downlight above my 1 plant, only prob is its got a 1 hour max timer on it so id have to bypass that but dont want it to burn my house down, its a philips original home solaris and its ultra violet, its a face tanner i think, any ideas/warnings wellcome

I would just keep it well ventilated, and keep a fan in the room with the lighting so nothing gets too hot. Also, if you can, why dont you break the 4 bulbs down and get a different mount, and have two mounts with two bulbs on each mount? that way, you can put one light above the plant, and mount one to your wall to be sure that even the bottom of the plant gets enough light. Im not experienced or anything, so i only know a little about a little, but i would just think that you wouldnt burn your plants out as long as you dont put the lighting too close and you keep a fan in there to cool things down constantly.

Yes its got 4 bulbs so i could rig two above and 1 either side bellow the plant, my brothers an elecrician so he could prob make it safe, only prob is the curved reflector parts on the lamp are all 1 piece of plastic so maybe a jigsaw to cut em up, sod it im getting my screwdriver out and dismatling it
