hey im new to this i just got my medical card. i was wondering if this is a good setup. i got a 400w mh and a 1000w hps in a 5x7x7 room with 6 plants (1 shocked dwarf). i was also wondering what kind of yeild i could expect from this? i plan on vegging them till they are 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall. i got 5 Blue Dream and 1 BlackCherry. i know you cant get the exact numbers but i was just looking for a rough estimate.

As for nutes im using EarthJuice Grow
and a organic Plant growth Enhancer

You're on the right track with the lights. About the Vegging untll they are 3 1/2 feet; they may well double (or more!) their size once you put them into flower. I think we're all aiming for around 1 gram per watt. Good to get it, but still plenty if we don't IMO.

Well some pics would be nice so we can see how you will set it up. But there is no way to tell how much yield you will get. Once you have done your grows a few times you will be able to answer this. But depends on lighting, nutrients, strain, environment, and love :)

yea thats huge. i wouldnt go past 2 feet when indoors. last time i let them get to 2 feet, switched them, and they ended at about 6 - 7 feet.
it comes down to strain, sure, but they will certainly double.

the lights seem fine. and when it comes to how much you will get, that depends on how well your grow goes. the nutrients, when you harvest, etc. 1gram / watt is great.

Hahaha! That's not a problem IMO, you're going to have fun there! Some LSTraining? It would be a shame to trim them any. I guess that's any yield concerns ruled out? ;-):lol:;-)

What is LSTraining? ive heard of it but never have looked into it.
Im aiming for 1.5 pounds but this is only my second grow so im not sure exactly what i will get.

LST then. If you break/kink/snap a branch you can straighten it up and give it support (Physical!) it will be fine. Even if you snap a branch clean off!...as long as you fix it straight away.
