Will vegetating for longer mean higher yield?

never heard of it. this method has to do with just getting the right temps and humidity. using what we already have

your right Bonz, all females can produce seeds, especially when heat or light or water stressed.Seeds are just not a good thing to find in your bag.maybe even the yield can be bigger , but what you gain in yield you loose in time. I run like a clock, Cut clones 21 days later trigger, 55 days later harvest , minimal utilities used per cycle, after two cuttings I toss the mothers so they stay fresh in small pots, I'm even experimenting using 4 inch pots to flower, a very radical sog setup that is showing promise , every ten 4inchers are producing 75 grams , whereas my two gallons are producing 30 -50 grams each , but taking up more space as well as a lot more soil.
As far as cloning goes I know what to expect on every plant as its a complete genetic reproduction of its mother, no wasted space for males that might come with a seed, much less the risk of germinating a whole room.

That I can agree with. I have bought seeds to try crossing up species , of course the only way , but to use them in a production capacity is where i cant do that.

i have several set ups here. my new grow is only going to be 6 plants out of the 10 seeds. i will take my strongest females to flower only and the rest or males will be bread or keep some pollen.
