Mittens is out of here and the Republican world is going completely insane!

His departure leaves Saint McCain and Huckleberry as their only hope. Limbaugh swears he is endorsing Hillary and giving $ to her campaign. It sounds like Lush is back on the Oxycontin.

McCain is hated by the theocons and they booed him in front of an all Rethuglican audience. The Reagan revolution is on life support. Bring an IV and 500cc republican Kool Aid----- STAT!!! Grandpa Simpson is now da Man! "Damn kids- get out of my yard"

This is leaving the door cracked open for fuckabee or dare I say it.....RP.
I find it hard to believe the repuks will stand behind mccain't in the end.
while the media has already handed mccain't as winner, I wouldnt be so sure.
funny, how a week can change everything huh?..give it a month and well see
if mccain't holds up.

What it says...I had several tabs open at the same time and posted a response in this thread that was supposed to be on a different thread...so I edited it because it just didn't belong in this thread but the thread that I thought I was posting in but wasn't because it was in a different tab but I was on this tab. :-)

If McCain gets the Republican nomination, there will be a ton of Republicans who will stay home and not vote. Either Hillary or Obama will be elected and one or the other will be president and vice president. After being in office for four years, we come to the elections of 2012, at which time, the country will be in a complete mess ala Jimmy Carter. Americans will be marching on Washington with fire in their eyes clamoring for REAL change ... like a smaller, less intrusive federal government, more freedom and liberty and more personal responsibility.

But on the other hand, I've probably over estimated the average American, so probably not.

As of right now, we can say Democratic brokered convention.
Next week, we could also say Republican brokered convention.
This has never happened in my lifetime of 52 years.
If it did play out this way, the delegates could vote for someone they did not start out with. Ron Paul could still happen.

You are so right. The Amerikan people are too spoiled to ever risk a revolution. Times must get a lot worse for the middle class and the upper echelon to allow that. The government can virtually get away with murder at present and is actually murdering thousands in planetary wars. A clusterbomb has no eyes, it can't tell civilian from terrorist. Leaving hundreds of thousands of DU (Depleted Uranium) projectiles laying all over the country will kill millions more, it will take longer, maybe 20-30 years, but that is still murder as they knew it going in that this would happen, in fact by all remnants of civil law, this would be 1st degree murder. If you spread poison all over your enemy's house and he eventually dies from it, you would go to jail for life.

Quit sniveling, it's gonna happen and not too soon in my humble estimation. We are the only industrialized country left without national health care. Do you think that is because of capitalistic greed, or just divine providence? You are so jaded because of your fight with the IRS that you can't see the forest for the trees, relax. You make enough money to survive quite comfortably unless you are having to give 80% of your income to cover past IRS debt, then Shame on you, you should have paid then. I think I can begin to see where your hatred comes from, relax it will kill you in the end.
