WilliamWonka's 2010 Outdoor

Haven't posted anything on here in a while. Been running some trial strains indoors during the winter to see what I wanted to do outside this year. Here is what I came up with.

Greenhouse Cheese
Greenhouse Himalaya Gold
Greenhouse Big Bang
Dinafem Power Kush
Dinafem Kings Kush ???
A local seed called Tropical
A local seed called Willow

Everything has been vegging indoors for about 2 months and has been topped and LST'd over and over again. We kept them short indoors so we could have big bushes outside.

Today we trekked to our spot. Had to carry all the 5 gallon buckets, 2 bales of promix, and numerous other things. Painted our buckets and potted the plants.

I'm gonna try and do a weekly update if at all possible. We are running clones inside to keep us going during all of this.

Hope you like.

Well its been a week since we started outside. Today we made the 2 mile trek back to the girls to see they have all grown a lot. Sprayed today with safer's soap for insects. Hope you guys like the pics. A few are a bit blurry and I apologize for that.

Himalaya Gold, Power Kush, Bubba Kush, King's Kush, Cheese, Big Bang, Tropical, and Willow

Here's a few pics of the Tropical I did in solo cups. Flowered them right after they rooted. All under fluoros to get a preview of the high for when i put them outside.

What about you?

Some killer strains there, never heard of Tropical but it sounds and looks good. How much did you get from the solo cups?

As for me im about to harvest my cup, it was a Medical Bagseed, but my next grow im getting ready for im going to be doing Sour Kush, LA Confidential, Deep Purple, and MBSxBubba Kush for my Indoor.
Then im doing some outdoor as well which will be some more Medical Bagseed, and some MBSxSuper Silver Haze

I'm not sure how much I got from one cup. Nowhere near what you got out of yours. I flowered for 8 weeks using the Humboldt Master A & B line with Snow Storm Ultra as well. Gonna run the same outside this year and we are gonna do some breeding. The Tropical doesn't root very well when cloned so we are gonna cross it with Cheese (roots in like 5 days). Gonna spray a couple cheese clones to force them male and use the pollen from that to breed into the tropical. Should be fun.

Quick update. Our cheese plant, which was our fastest rooter and grew the most during veg, turned out to be male. Our only male. We are super excited that we can now do some breeding.
We also took advantage of attitude's 420 sale and picked up a few more strains.

Greenhouse Green-o-matic
purple haze
red diesel
white widow
blue cheese
Cole train
sharksbreath

What are you gonna breed this year dragon? We have to go pull up our cheese male outside this weekend. We have 4 cheese clones getting ready to pollenate some girls this week indoor. We don't want everything outside to get seeded. I hate to pull him down.

Went and saw the girls today. We chopped our cheese male yesterday but still have indoor males to harvest pollen from. We also found a second spot to plant in once our next attitude order gets here.

I planted a female plant that we revegged after harvesting it about a month ago. We called her Hairy. I'll take pictures of the cheese males the next time I go to my partners house.

Pump?

I try not to use them or suggest them for outdoor set ups, because if they break down, your grow is over. They may also make noise that will cause unnecessary attention to come to your garden.

If your lucky enough to have a natural water source near by, The Most successful thing I have seen/done in guerrilla growing is to put a good sized reservoir (20 gallons per plant for every ten feet the water has to travel up hill) hidden at the water source. have a nozzle, or drip system come out of it AT THE BOTTOM of the reservoir (which you use depends on if your going to visit often or not). Find a nitch or dig a hole to stick the res in, and Gravity feed the Reservoir, or create a vacuum (syphon). The water pressure in the res will cause the water to flow up hill only so long as there is enough water IN the reservoir at all times (meaning you need to make sure your water source is going to last you the season, and that a good idea might be to feed the reservoir from the bottom of your water source. Make sure you can access your reservoir by openning a lid, you are going to want to monitor your water quality throughout the grow season, as well as make adjustments and add nutrients. If you think your water source will not last the whole season, add more reservoirs until you feel comfortable. The last thing you want is your plants to be shit out of luck for water.

If you use a drip system, I would recommend you still check on the plants at least two times a month to ensure that everything is working properly. I also suggest you keep extra drippers, or spray nozzles or what ever you use, right there at your water reservoir, as well as extra water line, in case something gets plugged, or a drought happens and animals eat through your lines for the water (Yeah, its happened).
